Meet the Team
Kat Cane
Independent Nurse Prescriber, PG Dip HE, PG Dip MSc Advanced Nursing and Education
Kat is a highly experienced nurse with more than 18 years of experience in NHS Nursing at a senior level, predominantly in Intensive Care and later in Nurse Education. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her clinic, Walton Street Wellness, which she co-owns with her husband, Patrick.
After establishing Face Oxford in 2018, Kat loved it so much that she moved into Aesthetics full-time in 2021. She has continued her professional education since then, attaining an Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification and a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments.
Kat takes a holistic approach to looking and feeling good, believing that skin health and aesthetic treatments should be done to work with and enhance the person’s natural features in a subtle way. Always you, just you at your best!

Kat Says:
“I love working with people to help them look and feel the best they can in their skin and bodies. There is huge power in having self-confidence about the way you feel about yourself and I know from talking to many of you the sense of well-being this can bring to a person’s life.
I enjoy helping people, just like you, achieve their goals, through offering evidence-based safe and effective treatments and skincare. I research all the treatments and skincare that I offer in great detail, so you don’t have to!
I love to help remove the guesswork, confusion and anxiety, and I’m determined to get you to where you want to be – feeling the best version of yourself.”
Kat is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (PIN number 01D0416E)

Patrick Cane
Recently voted one of the Best 3 Osteopaths in Oxford, Patrick established CORE Oxford to help people get out of pain and move better.
Patrick has worked with Olympians, Paralympians, desk workers, children, great grandparents and many wonderful people in between to understand why they are in pain and how to get them out of it as effectively as possible.
If you have a recent injury or chronic pain, Patrick looks to find the underlying issues by comprehensively reviewing your posture, movement patterns, injury history and onset of pain to create a working diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to you.
As part of your treatment your pain might be reduced using traditional osteopathic soft tissue techniques, Class 4 laser, dry needling, trigger point work and you might have movement re-education, using stretches, mobilisations, band techniques or strengthening work.
CORE Oxford is proud to have worked with many of the local sports teams and clubs in Oxford, including Oxford University Judo and the Oxford University Powerlifting Club as well as many of the Oxford Brookes and Oxford University sports team.
Patrick is proud to use the ASA MLS Class IV Laser for tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis and other soft tissue conditions and he teaches others nationally to use it safely and effectively.
Patrick Says:
“At CORE Oxford, we have worked with many people and also local sports teams and clubs in Oxford, including Oxford University Judo and the Oxford University Powerlifting Club as well as many of the Oxford Brookes and Oxford University sports teams.
We are also proud to have and use the best available technology, such as the ASA MLS Class IV Laser for tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis and other soft tissue conditions. As well as using this device in clinic, I am a key opinion leader on this device and teach others nationally how to use the laser safely and effectively.”
Patrick is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). Registration number 8425.
