Hello! If you are thinking of booking with us, or have booked an appointment, this information might be helpful to help you prepare for your appointment or plan your visit. Please read the following information carefully to help you have the best experience possible.
Covered below is booking and appointment, how to find us, parking and rescheduling your appointment.
Booking & appointment
We have an online booking system and all appointments need to be booked through this system please.
Contacting us
Please note we do not have a receptionist every day, so if you need to contact us, the best way to do this is via email rather than phone as we can pick these up easier. Our email address is info@faceoxford.com.
Please note that we do not all work at the weekends and whilst aftercare is provided post treatments over the weekend and evenings, non urgent messages/questions will be responded to when we are next in work. Please allow 5 working days for a reply before re messaging.
Finding us
We are based at Walton Street Wellness, 104 Walton Street, next to Manos Deli and Mama Mia Pizzeria, OX2 6EB. The front is painted green and there are lots of plants in the window.
There is an intercom system, please press buzz the big button and you will be let in. It can take a few moments for us to buzz you in, so do give us a moment if we’re with the person before you. Feel free to take a seat on the chairs and we will come and get you (when we finish with the person before and clean down everything).
Once inside, there is a bathroom on the lower ground floor you can access if you would like to.
Parking
Unfortunately, parking around the area can be tricky and/or expensive. If driving, we recommend using the parkopedia app which gives you free on street parking options, or the nearest car park is Walton Well Road (but this gets very dark at night, so not recommended if you are alone). St Giles is about a 7 minute walk.
You can also walk from town, it’s a lovely walk and takes about 12 mins through Jericho, which is home to loads of wonderful independent shops, deli’s, cafes, restaurants and even a cinema!
Do please give yourself time to arrive, as if you are more than a few minutes late we cannot always fit you in and it makes us run later for everyone else as well.
If you cannot make it
If you find out you are not able to make this date and time, please reschedule your appointment. Your confirmation email will have details of how to do this online as this is the quickest way to do this.
Please note: We operate a cancellation policy and if you cancel within 48 hours, you will need to pay another deposit.
If you miss a treatment appointment without any notice, you will be required to pay £50. No further bookings will be taken unless this is done.
Please let us know if you are unwell, of course please do not attend your appointment. In these cases we will accept later notice – please email and we will sort this for you.
Having someone with you
There is an option to bring a friend/family member, or of for us to provide a chaperone to your appointment if you would like. Do get in touch if you feel this is something you’d like to arrange.
Preparation, after care & follow up
For an Osteopathy appointment, please wear comfortable sports clothes. You will not need to be undressed at any point and our aim is for you to feel as comfortable as possible at all times.
For Aesthetic treatments, there can be some pre and post treatment information that you will be given at your appointment, please do refer back to this or email us if you need any reminders. Please check your email for aftercare forms that will have been emailed to you and if you think you may not have received them or you need urgent advice please do not hesitate to contact us: info@faceoxford.com.
